The packaging is made from individual grass paper boxes or, in the case of packages, from recycled cardboard .
Grass paper packaging
The packaging consists of individual grass paper boxes or, for parcels, recycled cardboard.
The use of grass paper for packaging has many advantages. Especially in its production, it has a very good environmental footprint. The industrial water consumption for grass cardboard is less than two liters per tonne of grass pulp. For comparison: For wood pulp, the water consumption is up to 6,000 liters. In addition, grass paper offers energy savings of up to 80 percent. CO2 reduction is up to 75 percent, and all process chemicals are eliminated.
