Our organic cotton for organic t-shirts and eco t-shirts is hand-picked, not machine-picked. This means more work, but also significantly more quality. No unripe fibers, no residues from harvesting machines, a noticeably softer feel. Production takes place in Portugal, Turkey, Bangladesh, and India, where the water requirements for organic cotton cultivation are largely met by natural monsoon rain, not artificial irrigation.
